Podcasting Italiano

Thursday June 9, 2005
Ma cos’č un podcast? Is it an iPod download? Is it radio broadcast on the Internet?

Think of it as an audio blog, but with the advantage of being downloadable as an mp3 file that can be listened to at any time offline. Once downloaded to an mp3 player, listeners can play the entire file or skip around and listen to those sections that most interest them.

Currently, one of the best Italian podcast programs is the Repubblica Radio podcast feed. It's a daily news and current affairs program from La Repubblica, the daily Italian newspaper with professional production values.

There are two ways to listen to the Repubblica Radio podcast. Download a podcast aggregator (i.e., iPodder or iPodderX) and then subscribe to the broadcast (click on the orange RSS button that appears on Repubblica Radio).

Or, for the less tech-savvy, simply listen online!

grazie mille, Michele. Cerco per i podcast qui negli Stati, e non ho imparato di aggregator prima di questo posto.
