Cooking in Chianti
Learn how to prepare traditional, home-style recipes at Podere Le Rose, a beautiful 13th-century casa colonica (Italian farmhouse typical of the Tuscan countryside) which has been restored by the de'Mari family, one of the oldest noble families in Italy. Language lessons can be combined with cooking courses. For groups, a special one-week Italian language, cooking, and wine course features a guided excursion in Chianti and Siena, accommodations and meals.

Divina Cucina
Judy Francini leads cooking programs throughout Tuscany, including a food lover's walking tour of the Central Market in Florence with tastings and lunch. Classes include 1, 2, and 3-day sessions.

Mamma Agata Cooking School
"Mamma" Agata, owner of this school, has cooked for celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy. Classes take place in Mamma Agata¹s home kitchen, which overlooks the town of Ravello. Students eat lunch on her outdoor terrace, which has spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. Groups of 10 or less learn to make homestyle southern Italian dishes, including penne all'arrabbiata and Mamma Agata's lemon cake (which she'll tell you was a favorite of Humphrey Bogart's) in three-hour cooking sessions that include both hands-on and demonstration portions.
