Italian Verb Mettersi

Mettersi (to put or place) is another versatile verb that's used in a variety of idiomatic expressions. Increase your word power by using the phrases listed below in daily conversation.

mettercela tuttoto do one's best
mettersi a confrontoto compare
mettersi a sedereto seat oneself
