Italian Possessive Pronouns

In Italian, possessive pronouns are used to replace a noun modified by a possessive adjective (aggettivo possessivo). A possessive pronoun must agree with the noun it replaces in gender and number and is accompanied by the appropriate definite article (articolo determinativo) or its contracted forms.
