La Berlusconaggine

It has long been recognized that Silvio Berlusconi, the Rockstar dell'Anno 2009, host of wild Bunga Bunga parties at his lavish Villa Certosa in Sardegna, and self-styled political jokester, speaks berluschese. A recent neologism featured in Treccani.it adds to the words that have entered the Italian lexicon that take as their stem the name of the former Prime Minister: berlusconaggine.
