Regretting a Misspelled Italian Tattoo

Thursday May 28, 2009

Hayden Panettiere obviously hasn't taken my advice: There are no refunds when getting a tattoo, so be sure you've triple-checked the spelling of your favorite Italian expression before getting inked—or better yet, visit a tattoo artist who knows Italian. That's because Italian tattoos are forever!

The American actress and singer requested the phrase Vivere senza rimpianti (live without regrets) to be tattooed on the left side of her back—but that's not what it says! Regretfully, Panettiere's misspelled tattoo is big, bold, and difficult to miss.
