Let's Pizza

Sunday April 5, 2009

The New York Times reports that the Let’s Pizza vending machine "...can turn flour, water, tomato sauce and fresh ingredients into hot pizza in a few minutes for a price as low as $4.50." Anyone wonder how they were able to fit a pizzaiolo inside the machine?

well, this little gem has been on for several days & to my utter surprise, not one of the “authentic italian food snobs” has jumped on it! after having put on my “kevlar vest”, in protection from the insuing onslaught, i’d like to say: if all of the components are present in this little “pizza robot” & they can be assembled to produce an edible, good tasting product, then, why not? it may even rival one that “mamma” can create. buona pascua a TUTTI….marianna

A pizzaiolo can make LOTS of pizzas in a few minutes! Let me also say that the real pizza should be made with a wood-burning oven, not an electric one. Difference in quality is huge.
