Members of the About Italian Language forum frequently ask about working in Italy. Wanted In Rome has classifieds such as this recent listing:

John Cabot University is looking for a full–time (40 hours per week) Admissions Assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to, promoting the University to prospective students, data entry, filing, interviewing students and processing applications. Bachelor’s degree is required. The candidate must be English mother tongue, hold valid Italian working papers, knowledge of the Italian language is preferred.

So there you are—work for a US-affiliated organization, practice and improve your Italian, and live in a world-class city!

The question is how to get Valid Working Papers. This is absolutely no help to someone who wants to work in Italy but does not have the papers, nor knows how to obtain them.
