At the Cerimonia di Apertura (Opening Ceremonies) at the Stadio Olimpico (Olympic Stadium), the flame will be used to light the cauldron, marking the beginning of i XX Giochi Olimpici Invernali Torino 2006 (the Torino 2006 XX Olympic Winter Games).
