NIAF Rome Gala Dinner

The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is sponsoring a gala benefit dinner in Rome to "celebrate the business, political and cultural ties between Italy and the United States." The event will take place Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the Westin Excelsior Hotel, starting at 7:30 PM.
This year NIAF will honor Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, chairman, FIAT SpA; and chairman, Confindustria. He will receive the NIAF U.S./Italy Friendship Award for his corporate accomplishments in leading Italians and Americans into the 21st century.
The event will be attended by prominent Italians and Italian Americans in business, the arts, government, and entertainment. Among the confirmed attendees is U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
