Le Posate da Formaggio

Tuesday February 15, 2005
First spoons just the right size and shape for eating gelato. Then switchblades manufactured with vendettas in mind. Now, in the current print edition of Viaggiesapori there's an interesting advertisement with a large photo of le posate da formaggio - silverware for cheese - and an explanation of their uses. There's la paletta and la goccia for slicing and cutting; la lama for spreading creamy cheeses; and la forchettina for spearing mouthfuls.

So now there's no excuse about choosing the correct flatware piece for serving and tasting i formaggi.
