Promoting the Italian Language

The Agenzia Giornalistica Italia reports that RAI, Italy's public broadcaster, and the Ministero degli Affari Esteri (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), have signed an agreement aimed at promoting the language, customs, life style and the historical, artistic and cultural legacy of Italy throughout the world.The agreement is part of the Foreign Ministry's goal of modernizing promotion of Italian language and culture abroad through the new forms of mass media.
