Italian Language Teacher Wanted: Immediate Opening

Company Description: Language Stars is a rapidly growing educational organization that immerses young American children in foreign language. The company’s unique FunImmersion method offers an effective and enjoyable way for children to learn a second language. The company currently offers foreign language to over 2,500 children in its locations across the Chicago area and has plans to pursue nation-wide expansion.

Qualifications: Candidates must be native or native-quality speakers of Italian and are selected for effectiveness and enthusiasm with young children, Italian language skills and a passion for Language Stars’ mission of immersing young children in foreign language in a fun context.

Job Description: Chosen candidates will participate in a Language Stars training program and then teach Italian to small groups of young children using Language Stars’ FunImmersion method at several of Language Stars’ Chicago-area centers. The Language Stars teaching team includes energetic educators from over 15 countries who work together within our network of Language Stars centers to provide the highest quality foreign language programs in the nation!

Salary: $28,000 per year
Job Location: Chicagoland area (Lincoln Park, Wilmette, Lake Forest or potentially other centers)
Start Date: September, 2003
