NIAF Washington Awards Gala

Don't miss the National Italian American Foundation Washington Awards Gala on October 25, 2003. Past honorees have included Alan Alda, Frank Sinatra, U. S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, Tony Bennett, Lee Iacocca, Luciano Pavarotti, and many others who have distinguished themselves.
The NIAF 2003 Gala honorees include actor/director Roberto Benigni, President & CEO of Newell Rubbermaid Inc, Joseph Galli, and Senior Vice Chairman of American International Group, Inc, Thomas Tizzio. Additional celebrity honorees will be announced later this summer. The Washington Gala is the major annual event benefiting the NIAF education and scholarship program. Participation guarantees that the NIAF will continue to help young people with their higher education, mentor programs, youth retreats and other efforts to instill a sense of pride in their wonderful heritage. Participation will also help support the NIAF Gift of Discovery student program in Italy and the Students to Leaders program which helps young Italian Americans develop effective leadership skills.
